The school day begins at 8:05 AM and ends at 2:25 PM. Students selected for extended day classes will be dismissed at 3:02 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There is no extended day for students on Mondays or Fridays.

Arrival Procedures

• The cafeteria will open ONLY for breakfast at 7:30AM
• At 7:50, breakfast ends and line up begins for all students.
• Kindergarten students will enter through the annex entrance on 43rd Street.
• Grade 1 will line up in the school yard, near the fence on 40th Street.
• Grade 2 will line up in the schoolyard, near.
• Grade 3 will line up in the school yard, near the jungle gym.
• Grade 4 will line up in the school yard, near the fence on 41st Street.
• Grade 5 will line up in the upper school yard, near the auditorium side of the building.
• Grade 6 will line up in the upper school yard, near the cafeteria side of the building.

Dismissal Procedures for Both Regular and Extended Day

• Kindergarten students will be dismissed at their designated spot in the annex school yard. During inclement weather classes will line up in the multi-purpose room.
• Grades 1 and 2 will be dismissed on the 40th Street side of the yard. Each class has a designated area along the yard. Parents must wait outside the 40th Street gate for your children.
• Grade 3 and 4 will be dismissed in the school yard on the 41st Street side of the yard. Each class has a designated area along the yard. Parents must wait outside the 41th Street gate for your children.
• Grades 5 and 6 will exit through the doors closest to 40th Street on 43rd Avenue (near the gazebo). Parents must wait outside the 40th Street gate for your children.
