Happy New Year!
P.S. 150 is using the K-12 Alerts system to strengthen communication between home and school. This is an automated system that will allow the school to send notifications to parents' home phones, cell phones, and/or e-mail addresses. Notifications include reminders for school holidays, meetings, and information on emergency situations (should they arise). In the future, the system will also alert you of student absences. Parents will need to register in order to receive the alerts by clicking here. You will need to have your child's ID and password in order to register. That information was sent home to you in a letter that had more detailed information regarding this system.
Extra Test Prep Begins
P.S. 150 offers to programs to provide extra help to students in grades 3-6. Both programs will begin in January. Permission letters were sent home. Remember that space is limited, so be sure to complete and return your permission slips as early as possible to reserve your child's seat!
Saturday Academy will be held each week, beginning on Saturday, 1/7/12. Students should be dropped off at 9:00 AM and picked up at 12:00 PM.
Project Intervention will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays each week, beginning on Tuesday, 1/10/12. Students should be picked up at 5:15 PM.
